Today at SCS, I will apply myself totally to the task of
learning, so that I may become the Christian leader God is
preparing me to be.
OUR VISION
SCS prepares and inspires students to seek God and
personally have a relationship with Him that affects all of
their decisions throughout life.
SCS makes academic excellence a priority to equip students
for higher levels of education through becoming critical
thinkers, effective communicators, and advanced learners
who affect Christians and non-Christians alike.
SCS is visionary in its intent of looking ahead to
challenges and opportunities for growth and more effective
service in the development and preparation of our students.

OUR HISTORY
With thirty years of history and experience, Sierra
Christian School has grown to become one of the most
successful and effective ministry endeavors of the Central
Church of Christ. Located in Stockton California,
Sierra Christian School thrives today because of the
visionary leadership, dedication and determination of those
who launched the school in 1977.
Sierra Christian School is dedicated to the development of
excellence in Christian commitment and character through an
emphasis on a Christ-centered, academically challenging
education. As a ministry of the community of faith at
Central, Sierra Christian School is a viable education
alternative for the city of Stockton.
